Nocatee, FL · Ages 14–18 · Founding class now enrolling

In four years, your teen walks away with a transcript — or a track record.

The Forge is a four-year program where ambitious teens build real ventures inside The Link — Nocatee's innovation center. Real founders, real projects, real momentum. A few hours a week.

Transcript, or track record?

Same years. A completely different track record.

Everyone their age is running one of two plays. The traditional path stacks up transcripts. The Forge stacks up a track record — real ventures, real work, real experience that compounds, year over year.

The real math

The most expensive path is the one everyone assumes is safe.

Two degrees and ten years later, the conventional route can leave a bright kid half a million dollars behind — before they've earned a dollar. Start building now and the same decade flips the other way.

Forward-looking estimate for a student enrolling 4+ years out. Private = private bachelor's (~$60K/yr) + grad school (~$80K/yr), financed, interest accrued to graduation. State = UF/FSU cost of attendance; Bright Futures can lower it. "You, building" earnings assume real ventures, internships, and paid project work. Real outcomes depend on the student.

inside The Link — Nocatee's innovation center, home to 100+ founders, startups, and investors. Your teen learns in the room where it actually happens.

It's not just for one kind of teen

The room your teen is in right now is shaping who they're becoming.

Between school and home, most teens end up somewhere by default — a bedroom, a parking lot, a phone screen. The Lounge is the intentional alternative: a real space, with real people around, where good things happen without anyone forcing it. Whatever your teen is into, there's a reason to walk in.

The creative

Theater, art, music, content. A space to create, collaborate, and find their people.

The athlete

Off-season or after practice — somewhere to decompress, hang out, and not be bored.

The focused one

Fast WiFi, quiet zones, and a place to knock out homework before enjoying the night.

The builder

Ready to do something real. Projects, mentors, internships — the Accelerator is their next step.

From “I'm not sure” to “I'm glad they're there”

The worries parents actually have.

Before

“I don't know where he goes after school or what he's doing.”

Staff present, controlled access, clear expectations. You always know where they are.

Before

“She comes home and goes straight to her phone for four hours.”

Something to do, people to do it with, and a reason to be somewhere real.

Before

“I'm not sure his friend group is pushing him in the right direction.”

A community of teens with different interests, all in the same purposeful space.

Before

“We spend a fortune on activities but nothing sticks or compounds.”

A membership that builds on itself — and for Accelerator members, can pay for itself.

“I stopped worrying about what he was doing after school. He's at The Link. I know who he's with, I know the space, and he actually wants to be there — which is more than I can say for anything else we've tried.”

Parent questions

Cost, safety, and what's actually included.

Is this safe? Who's supervising?+
The Lounge sits inside The Link — a staffed, 22,500 sq ft innovation center at 425 Town Plaza Ave in Nocatee. Access is controlled, adults are present, and the environment has clear expectations. It's independence for your teen with peace of mind for you.
My teen isn't into startups or entrepreneurship. Is this still for them?+
Completely. The Lounge is a third place first — somewhere to hang out, make friends, do homework, and have fun. The builder path — the Accelerator — is there for teens who want it, but nobody's pushed toward it. A teen who just wants somewhere better to spend their afternoons is exactly who the Lounge is built for.
Will this distract from school?+
The Lounge is open evenings and weekends — not during school hours — and Monday nights are structured around study and focus. Most parents find the opposite is true: a teen with somewhere purposeful to be and a community to show up for tends to be more grounded, not less.
How is this different from a rec center or after-school program?+
It's not run like a program — there's no curriculum, no mandatory attendance, no homework. It's a membership to a space your teen actually wants to be in, shaped by the teens who use it. The structure is light on purpose: a weekly rhythm, not a schedule.
What does the Lounge ($99/mo) actually get us?+
Unlimited drop-in access, all events included, games and snacks, fast WiFi, monthly workshops, and a community your teen belongs to. No per-event fees, no surprises. Most families find it replaces two or three things they were already spending on.
How does the Accelerator pay for itself?+
The Link is home to 100+ founders, startups, and investors actively looking for help. Accelerator members get direct access to that room — and the internships, project bounties, and paid work that come with it. A focused teen can realistically offset the monthly fee through earned income, and the most driven members earn their way to free — and beyond.
Is there financial aid?+
Yes. A limited number of need-based spots are set aside each term. Share your situation in the form below and we'll walk through every option — including the self-funded path through the Accelerator's earning opportunities.

Don't see your question? Add it to the form below — we read every one.
